A downloadable Demo

Go-Go BunnyGun - 1 Stage Demo

A bold and fun new shoot-'em-up for the 48K Sinclair ZX Spectrum from Ionian Games, who previously brought you Buzzsaw+, Roger the Pangolin in 2020 Knurled Tour and The Haunting of Waterbelle End.

This is a demo of the first stage only, as the game is still in development. The final game may be subject to changes.

The game is intended to run on the original popular 48K model of the ZX Spectrum as launched in April of 1982. It will run on later 128K, +2, +2A and +3 models, but does not contain any additional content for those machines.

(And no, there isn't a cheat code to see the other levels, they're just not there!)

Hi there, I hope you don't mind, but I put this awesome release in with this months best homebrew releases.

Great demo, makes me wanting more. I've also added it to my new video along with other recently released games. Hope you like it.

This looks stunning! Absolutely phenomenal for a ZX Spectrum game!
Love how you embraced the character space colors to their full extent, making everything super colorful and detailed. And the fact it's got nearly full-screen parallaxed scrolling wasn't lost on me either. Super impressive - can't wait for more of this!

If I was to criticize anything, I'd say I could live without the blue lines on top and bottom of the screen. Not sure if I'm losing my mind, but they are somehow really distracting to me. Also, for a game that's clearly channeling Sexy Parodius with its ridiculously cute main character, the enemies sure are kind of generic robots and geometric shapes. Could've been so cool to have cute over the top enemies as well.

Great game, thanks.

Cool job!

Awesome use of colour, congrats!

Great game, as good as rtype was in its time.

Maybe you could release a SHUMP maker from it?

Thanks

I cannot get over how good this is, a technical masterclass and an absolute joy to play. This has the potential to be one of the greatest ZX Spectrum games of all time & I don't say that lightly.

Really looking forward to the full game now.
